Thinking of buying a 1990 mustang LX as a parts car

Got a 87 GT and theres this 90 LX for sale in my area no motor for bout 800 bucks, thinking if it's a good idea to buy and use it as a parts car. I need a hatch my hatch is all rusted up and the 90 LX has 5 lugs, is it possible to have those parts switched out on my 87?

Yea everything should will work on your 87 one way or another

I bought a 93 GT parts car a little while ago and drove it home for $400. I got the engine, trans, complete 5 speed setup for myself. I also scored the aluminum driveshaft that was in it, the dash, and a good pair of doors. I sold the ecm, wiring harnesses, caster camber plates (Maximum motorsports) hood and a few other things. With what I sold I made $400 profit plus the parts I kept. Car was rusty....

Try offering less, especially with no engine.
