I haven't seen anyone on here with one though. I KNOW Superchips makes one( I think...lol) And is claiming 9HP and 16 ft/lbs TQ at the flywheel. Anyone done any research or have any thoughts on this

Superchips are a joke. All they do is advance the timing a little and force you to run premium. If you have a pre91, you can do that yourself.
I'll buy a tuner or something like that before I even consider a superchip.

You want me to put on my site that I can make 5000hp out of your motor with my special race gas? Because I can if you want me to...

The site is selling a product, it's not going to tell you it's worthless...even if it is.

How does this pertain to a 2.3L I would like to see the dyno number before and after it's hooked up to one also.

People are always looking for a easy out The only thing I got to say is...get your damn hands dirty and put that 250.00 to better use. Heck I could buy a NOS system for that much adding 100+ hp I've got a friend running 13.33's with a bone stock 5.0. except for the headers that is. If you're on the 4.6L talk look for a Fallen Pheonix he may know the guy also and can back me up on it.

I agree it will do exactly what they say it will do, optimize for performance but with individual results varrying. Are you really gonna go dyno your car on and off the chip to see if you gain a few extra hp?

NOS: yes there are better kits out there, Nitrous Express has been leader for awhile now. Then you have Nitrous Works, Zex, Venom, etc etc...anything to me is better than having to say i have NOS

Do you have a printout of the dyno to post? What mods?
I'm just interested to see it.

Pacesetter longtube header, catco hi-flo cat flowmaster 40 series 2 chamber. 2" all the way back(I think) and a PVC CAI.
84 HP
9X Ft/Lbs

And by the way I was just playing about the chip...didn't think it would turn into all this lol...but yes those are real dyno numbers I'll see if I can find the sheet and scan it

I'm guessing you're getting at the fact of ricers calling Nitrous NAWS or some crap because of F&F. I promise you this if Nitrous Oxide Systems didn't pay ole Vinny for product placement he would have said something different. I don't and want call NOS...NOS/NAWS. I always refer to any system as simply put Nitrous, Juice, or Laughing Gas. As fair as I knew NOS systems is still top dog but everyone I know builds their own systems. My friend is among the top Nitrous experts in the country and has even been payed to help work on NOS's nitrous curve maps. There was some guy down in Florida who I think has the fastest street car who has payed my freind to help tune his car.

At any rate I don't care which way you go Nitrous of some kind is going to get more results quicker/cheaper than some chip on a 2.3L or a 5.0. Those ads saying you can get 25hp is based off of so many factors it's unreal. I've been out of the loop some but if I find my friend I'll post his dyno #s and time slips. It's a 91-93 ish 5.0 with large tube headers/10" slicks only running 13.33's. I can't remember the Torque but the rwhp was 225 hp. Just think that is on the stock Ford ignition. I can only wonder what he would do if he used 250.00 to buy a real cam or intakes

A chip on a 2.3L n/a is a waste of money, especially since you have to run premium and they cost $300 last time I checked.

I also don't believe those chips that some places sell for the 2.3L Turbo that claim you can make 300 hp with just the chip.
