A bike without a title. "That's not that odd", you might say. However, take a look at the Q&A section at the bottom. He hasn't made payments on it, the bank has failed to repo it for some reason, and the guy has the balls to hurry up and sell it before they come get it and not have a title for the buyer.

I bought this bike in oct of 2003 new. Shortly there after i ran into money problems and i was never able to make the payments or for that matter pay off the bike.. Jan of 2004 and monthly there after i contacted the lein holder aking them to take possesion of the bike to date they have not done a thing..the bike is currently registered in florida (good till June 06) Im getting ready to reregister which will make it good till june 2007. bike only has 620 miles and there is the balance of the factory warrenty.

So technically, this bike is on its way to repo man.. right?? How do you register without title?
Is that even do-able?

You can order a new frame for that style bike and when you get it,it will have a title.Just change the parts over.

I am not sure what he is trying to do is legal. Hell that thing could be stolen. that raises all kinds of red flags for me

If you bought it, wouldnt they just repo it from you instead? Odd..

I would think the unlucky person who buys this bike may inherit the lein which comes along with it if they were to register it.

When a bike or car is stolen, regardless if you buy it after stolen, it will be repossesed.

Happens all the time, you might be driving a "new" used car, and 3 months later they bank takes your car... Nothing you can do, because it was wrongfully taken from someone else...

At least you don't get in trouble for it.

Looks like it would be considered "conversion" like any other time you recieve stolen property

They could charge you with receiving stolen property if they can prove that you knew it was stolen. which in this case they could probably prove it.
