At the risk of sounding even more dense than usual... I'm sure that was a joke, and I bet it's funny... I'm just not getting it. ( In my defense, it is way past my bedtime )
if I had a stang and everything checked out but I got a pinging out of it on a long third gear pull, the first thing I'd do is stop putting lawn mower gas in the tank
I did not elaborate too much on what happened because i don't think it's related to this post. It pinged with 93 octane at the end of 3rd with 12 degrees. I've played around with timing and octanes and my car is running lean under load. That's why i have a new fuel pump waiting to go in. I even said that before.
