I waited until I had a short list put together--this way--keeping things to one thread. If someone / anyone could help me out here, I'd appreciate it. Not only will it help me learn the lingo, but understand what folks are talking about. I picked-up a couple of these in the past couple of weeks and filled-them in below.

Once the list is complete, I'll throw them at a mod and see if it can be a sticky or something to help others. Sound good? Oh, and if there are things not on the list, please chime in. Thanks!

Da List...

Nitto - Is this a brand of tires?

A corrections:

MIL: Malfuntion Indicator Lamp (most commonly used when speaking of the O2 sensors though.)
F-Body is correct, but not to be confused with Fox Body.

Now that one, I don't know if I could ever find a use for it. Come to think of it, I'll have to try and remember where I saw that one being used. LOL I just copy / pasted stuff on Notepad when I saw something I didn't understand.

At any rate, thanks much for the answers!

That is some funny stuff!!!!! Imagine this guy writing down stuff using notepad thinking this is all mustang talk and then he finds out that this is what that means! The best part of all is when DBMSTNG filled in the list he just casually wrote that in there with no comment at all, like it belonged there! I was reading down the list and then I saw piitb and was not expecting that. Oh man, thanks for the laugh!

While your at it you forgot stfu and noob. LOL Two of the more common remarks I see on here.

Ya, already knew STFU and Noob (newbie)... just never saw "PIITB" before. I thought it was "Performance Intake <something> <something> Back."

But, at least I know now.

That is hilarious! I have seen it on a couple of posts before that's how I knew what it was. Don't ask me why but the thought of you having that in your list all this time thinking hmm..I wonder what that means is funny. I can just imagine your shock , as was mine when I was reading that list and saw that at the end. I was completley unprepaired for that one. Maybe it's just passed my bed time though.

Ya... I originally thought it was a joke since it was the last one DBMSTNG filled-in for me. But, it turns out this wasn't the case. Needless to say, it won't be going on my list of CAR acronyms to remember. Sheesh...

By the way mega, I saw your other post where you said you were getting some gears put in. Please post back and let us know all the details of how it went and if it is a must have mod.

Will do! Exhaust is tomorrow, so I'll have a couple of days to play around and get familiar on how the car responds. Then, gears on Friday. Going to a Mariner's game on Saturday so it will be a fun little ride out to the stadium!
