Well... I know what they are thinking.

They are thinking that they need more money some how, but they lack the capacity to shift their spending. They need money for fixing up Seattle so their votes keep pouring in from the heart of this state.

So what they do, is throw more tax out there.

"Oh, we need more money?! Tax those poor suckers!"

Without any specific names (to keep it from getting too political), that specific parties only solution for creating revenue (instead of taking from here, and adding it there), is tax!

What us southern WA folks think doesnt matter a whole lot when the huge majority of the votes come in from King county, and thats where the spending is centralized. We may get a little here, or a little there, but nothing compared to what King gets.

Rant over.

Haha, good luck proving its a 1.9! I could only imagine.

And it wasnt bought after 2009. You do currently own it, right? If not, you've got the rest of this month and 10 more month ahead to buy it! Not sure if they mean new models or any year... didnt read that far.

Look at the hike from 2.9 to 3.0, what the heck, where is the logic behind that? Is .1 liter going to make that much of a difference?! No, more wonderful WA leg. logic.

Then they would need emissions tests for all years too. That would be a drastic change in policy. The law is European in concept. They tax by displacement.

I almost find it amusing. That I would pay less for my 4.6 motor. Than someone witha 5.0 would. Almost.
