throttle body spacer...

I've just bought a 75MM throttle body and i would like to know if a throttle body spacer(vortec or helix or whatever the name)worth the money,can i really gain some hp and torque or will i save some gas?

I have got a Air-Raid, It says its for a 03-04 but it worked on my car. I could tell a little difference, But to me every little thing helps

If your talking about those 1 inch spacer's then... No.
Buy an upper plenum. Accufab

Do they have any function at all? What about intake spacers that bolt on between the upper & lower intake? Seems like they'd only make a difference (and a small one at that) when coupled with some sort of FI.

i dont think they would make any differnce that you are going to feel. im sure there probally good for a few horses, thats about all. nothing noticable. I would go with a upper plenum before the spacer.

come on dude.


how is a spacer with decreased diameter going to work.

why don't you just put a 1" diameter spacer. it will limit how much fuel your engine will use. at wide open throttle, you will get fantastic fuel economy. incredible velocity in the spacer. high velocity&limited airflow = better fuel economy and power. they put the 65 mm throttle body just for marketing, it really doesn't need it. trust me. just ask around.
