hey guys just looking at some more upgrades and was wondering if the throttle body and intake plenum is worth the money do you get a couple horse out of it? thanks.
Save your money. Get the throttle body, bigger MAF, intake, and tuner when you get a blower or turbo. You can gett a turner whenever really. If you get the intake now it will pretty much be for looks. Throttle body will have negligible gains. They are great supporting mods for "the bigger picture".

I posted a thread regarding an option to upgrade to a F150 TB. I got the unit off of a junk yard truck for 20 bucks and it is a 75mm unit! Some modification has to be done to get it to work, but $20 versus $200 is worth it! The biggest cork for the 4.6 SOHC is the stock exhaust manifolds. Get some equal length shorties or some long tubes before you upgrade the intake side!
