ok there are 2 cables that go to bracket on the throttle body, the one on the fender side i see is the one that pulls the throttle plate open. so what is the other cable for that is on the intake side? it has like a black cap which
i think covers a spring??
yeah its a 5 speed, but doesn't have cruise control anymore, so one more thing I can rip out. I think its making my throttle stick when I first push on the gas pedal anyway.
how many miles does your car have on it?? I had the same problem on my car, the throttle was getting sticky when I first pushed the pedal, eventually got worse and when I looked into it more it turned out that my throttle cable was about shot.
My car has about 200K miles on it. With it being a 5 speed ex SSP car I could only imagine the work that cable had seen in it's lifetime
