hey i im pretty sure i have posted about this a while back but i didnt get much feedback except that one other memeber had the same thing and said its been happening for years and no problems. why i am posting again is the ticking in my engine seems to be getting worse. when i first noticed it was mid winter so i thought it was just cause it was freezing cold but ever since i been driving it daily again it gets worse and worse and the ticking gets louder as the rpms get higher ?? and one ?? my mods are in my sig if that helps. thanks

check your oil and make sure your not low. Also you can pull the valve covers to inspect the rockers, could be one collapsed? Some are just noisy

Do Holley headers have a single flange or are they single pipes like MAC. If so you might have warped headers.

oooooh! how much is a quart, in litres? sorry as a canadum, i don't have a clue about imperial measurements. but that seems like a lot!!!! it only takes 4.7 litres, and i thought a quart was a bit more than a litre! where is the noise coming from? valvetrain? that would really help you get a lot more useful suggestions! you can use a screwdriver placed to your ear like a stethescope to help pinpoint the area its coming from.....
