The only thing we dont like about our new house is all the cabinets. Well mainly the color, its a pinkish cheap looking color. Since they are cheap ones and cant be sanded down to repaint(except for the cabinet doors can). I was thinking of putting down 4x4 travertine tiles on the sides and the front of the cainets. It would be a brown color tile, and I would sand down the doors and paint them a similar brown color.

BTW I did all the tile in our house....

The only thing you can stain is the actual door cabinets, the rest is laminated.

NO TILE ON CABINETS! If they are that cheap, the door hinge screws will strip. That will hurt your toes when they fall off. PAINT them, live with them, or replace. Besides I say that would look too busy.

Now what does this do with your Mustang - you must have haulled the tiles home in the back, right?

No, the cabinet doors would be painted since its real wood....the cabinets are just standard cabinets that kb homes installs...

i can't see the tiles looking that good on the cabinets. i would just paint them. if you wanted the tile look you could paint it that way. i just see the tile being too heavy

i love the liquor selection BTW
