What is the base timing for a stock 90 5.0 my car has no sticker on it under the hood. I just put a new crate motor in it and need to get the timing right.
it is a 5 speed if that makes a difference.
10* is stock...no matter what 12*-14* is better....and you have good aluminum heads on your crate motor 16* may be perfect...but min 12* is a good starting point.
best way to see what works w/ your combo is at the track...run the different settings, and where you have the most MPH it's optimimum
