So heres the skinny. 89 gt stock motor stock everything was put back in. idles fine when i hit the gas you can feel it hesitate and then it sounds like a bunch of popping. If i floor it the car just dies. ideas? Im thinking timing off but i dunno. Under load like if i try to drive it its even worse.

Update read around on here and tried unplugging the mass air sensor. Car runs like a champ with it unplugged. It was a used piece since i sold the one calibrated for 24's. So i guess i just need a new MAF and all should be well..

Make sure if you have a cone filter that the fan isn't disrupting the maf as well... I uhhh know someone that happened to.

Nah its all back to stock. im gonna try cleaning the maf and see how that goes.
