I just got my new rims and tires put on the car (Deep dish Bullits W/ Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's) and I have to say it looks pretty badass. Only problem is the handeling seems squirley like the sidewalls are flexing really bad on the rears at 32 psi, At times it feels like I have a flat tire. Should I increase the tire pressure in the rears? Or is this normal and Im just not used to it?

I recall your previous threads asking about 315s. Did you go with 17x10.5" rims?

They are 17X10.5 on the rear and 17X9 on the front.

I am running 245/45/17 BFG KDW but, I generally keep them at 35 psi all around. It has been the best pressure to get even tread wear, anything less causes the edges to wear faster. Try bumping the pressure up a few pounds and see if it helps.

Did you go with the Bullitt suspension or are you still on the H&R setup?

Mine dont buldge at all, but then again my sidewalls are like steel LOL. About the stiffest you can buy aside from runflats. They dont walk on me. Look.

I have the same exact tires on 17x10.5 03 cobra rims from AFS. I run them at 32psi and have about 20000 miles on them so far, and still have good tread left. - no abnormal wear either.

I have the same rims as btolenti but with Sumitomo 315s and ran 32psi on my 1st set and wore out the centers. Now I run 30psi and get an even wear pattern. I was told by my tire dealer to run what the door sticker says.

Yeah, I heard the a few owners saying it was hard to get the proper pressure with the Sumi's. I have had great luck with the Goodyears, but am still trying to figure out if they are worth twice as much as the sumi's....

The door stickers tire pressure spec is for 245/45/17 tires. You will have to adjust the pressure when you use a different size tire... I just lucked out and 32 seemed to be the magic number for the goodyears...

I did adjust, but the tire guy still says to go buy the sticker. And they are wearing even now that I'm following his advice.
