I love the sound of the old drag cars. I want the loudest exhaust setup. I was thinking shorty headers, x pipe, and magnaflow exhaust. Also if i dont get cats, what will happen to the exhaust.

loudest would be headers, off-road X, and an SLP loudmouth system. If you just want flat out loud that will do the trick.

thats exactly the setup i'm looking at getting for my procharged 05
I already have the slp loudmouths. thinking of adding JBA longtube headers and their offroad h-pipe so no cats... I'm just worried that it will be obnoxiously loud.. or too raspy. definitely don't want raspy. I don't mind loud, just not so loud that you can't think while sitting in the car.. any thoughts?

dont know what to tell you about it being too loud, but i do know slp is coming out with their own long tubes and mid pipe... might wanan look into it so you have the complete setup by them, if that matters to you. some people like to mix and match or whatevs, to each his own...just lettin u know there comin out

I personally think the SLP is too loud. I like the Bassani, nice deep rumble like the old muscle cars (which sound mean as hell) and won't get on your nerves while cruising.

an H-pipe will give you a more classic muscle sound while the X-pipe has a more refined tuned sound, but both can be quite loud in off-road form.
