Hey guys how fast you think i can hit top speed in my car now? With the 2v fastest i went was 117-123mph and i let off. What do you think i'll hit with the 4v in and the 373 gear?

My car came with 16s when i bought it.

I've hit the speed limiter several times on my 02 GT. It stops at about 148-149MPH. I read on an on-line spec sheet that the speed limiter is indeed 148.
If you have gears other than the originals, then you'll see the car hit 150, and keep pulling because your actually going slower than what the speedometer reads. I do know you can have the speed limiter removed though, I haven't tried it, and I don't think I ever will cause I don't trust myself. As soon as I hit the open road, I'll push the car to its limits.

That's not always a good thing, atleast for me. I already bent a few valves from red lining the car so much.

I've been 140, and then crapped my pants. I've never felt the "lift" that some guys talk about, but 140 is wwwaaaayyyy fast, and I'll never go that high again. Unfortunatly, I don't think that our cars were designed for anything above 120 for stability. Also keep in mind that there are so many road imperfections that I know my car won't handle that well. Go to the salt flats with an aero kit if you really want to know. Our cars are 1/4 mile designed. Stock, if you've got huge balls, I think it will go 150-155 top speed.
