Logic here would dictate that Ford replace the fans before they burn up and cost an engine and a stranded motorist. This whole fan recall thing ticks me off. Essentially Ford is saying, "Here have a fuse. When the fan goes out it won't catch fire, but your engine may overheat if you aren't paying attention. And you will definitely get stranded." Total BS!

haha yeah... although it is a breaker that will reset its self. Im not sure exactly how it works I know if it tries to pull to much current the breaker will trip but I dunno if the fan is on high maybe it will turn it down to low? Either way its better then catching on fire.. least if you check your guages you will see it start to run hot befor it gets to hot. I havent had a problem since the swap.
