Mine comes on when I start the car and it goes away when I hit reset. Then again I have aftermarket wheels w/o TPMS hardware in it I'm not sure if actual low pressure would be cleared that easily.
well... it would just clear when you re-inflated the tires right? It would be on the whole time your at the track, but does that really matter? Maybe I am missing something.
My TPMS comes on at about 25-30psi, as I need new rear tires and they get low about once a month or so.
just making sure i don't need to hook up a scanner or anything to clear the code.
i'm fine with it being on, just don't want it to stay on. i had 4 lights on my old car that were always on, and it pissed me off to the point i just pulled the bulbs out.
If your tires are underinflated to the point where the TPMS light comes on, the light should turn off when you inflate the tires to the proper pressure and drive for 2 minutes at over 20 mph.
