Craig's Wagon -

Started the day with a couple of good runs against Craig's mighty wagon. Great running car for the price he gave! Looks mean too for a 351 wagon.

14.28 @ 96.94 vs Craig's 15.42 @ 88.77
60ft was 2.22
14.17 @ 97.11 vs Craig's 15.61 @ 88.76
60ft was 2.20

Good times!

Got the second run on video....

Duggan's 95 GT -

This is a grudge match that's been in the works since I first met Joey. Smack talk had always been one sided too. I finallly got him to put up or shut up. Luckily he didn't have to get divorced, as nothing broke on the car... but it was good times. Multiple races and I ran a personal best N/A against his car when Tony ran it. 14.16 @ 96.98 mph!

14.29 @ 96.75 to Joey's 16.46 @ 88.67
60ft was 2.23
14.53 @ 96.50 to Joey's sideways launching 16.70 @ 84.11
60ft was 2.41
14.16 @ 96.98 to Tony's 15.74 @ 92.76 in Joey's car.
60ft was 2.12

Once he gets his clutch sorted out, I hope we can give it another shot. is always an option for him.

I'm trying to figure out if it was the cat-less H (still not fitting right yet) or the new O2s that gave me almost a 3 mph better trap speed.

BTW - I'll update my sig later. No point in people asking what I ran before the H and O2s.

Have the same questions as Dan. What were your 60s? You probably would've cracked the 12s with the 125 shot. Congrats, yet ANOTHER reason to get the 3000 stall.

I'm still learning. I had my old stall figured out to the T. Now it's tougher. The bad 60fts above are from idle then WOT.

The best times were from idle as well, but hitting 75% throttle then mashing it down 10-15 ft out.

The Mid runs were from holding the brake and stalling up to about 2,600 - I never seem to have enough time to get it on up to 3,000 - I have to pump my brake pedal once to get it to hold that much and I only try that when the other guy takes to long at the tree.

Oh, and yeah, these are still the same Esennza street tires from AFSWheels. I haven't even rotated them front to back yet.

Reason I haven't been on in a while. I got a new job. WAY TOO MANY HOURS - salary sucks cause I'm giving away my life right now. But the potential is there.

That and I've been really sick over the past month and a half.

If you guys want to see our club calendar I finished since the last time I posted here, there are pics of each month in this thread: http://www.100mphclub.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=4442

Wow... those are amazing times. What tires?

My best 1/8 run so far is a 9.07 @ 77.20 with a 2.12 60ft.

I've got a used 6AL waiting to be installed, new Taylor wires, and I'm going to add the timing adjuster so I can switch to the juice easier and back it down during a run if I need to. Our track rental day is coming up. May 21st, so I better get with it.

Street tires.

They are Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's @ about 25psi. 275/35/18

I get my best launches by bringing it up to 1500 rpm. no more, no less. I figure i could get even better 60' times by getting some drag radials and launching at a higher rpm.

My new goal is to reach an 8.4 in the 1/8th with stock gears.

I can tell you it wasnt the 02 sensors because they dont do anything at WOT your computer runs off of set fuel and spark tables.

Good call... guess I wasted $100. It doesn't idle any better, and it still surges. 172,000 miles on the old sensors and they act just like new ones.

A buddy drove it that last run, the best run... said the clutch was really misadjusted. He could at least launch it. The owner was a tire spinning fool.

The car has a rebuilt motor in it. Only 50 miles on it actually. It goes to car shows and is trailered most of the time. LOL

Joey is a kewl guy, but talks ALOT of smack. Took me a couple hours to get him on the track. Sure was great to outrun him like that.

Still no 13's NA paul? Man I am so disappointed in you! JK bro

Looks like you are knocking on the door though. Time to go gets some 12's on the juice. I MIGHT have some new times this month. Deciding whether or not I want to run my car on 4/30 at Mustang Madness. My goal before was 13.9 but now a 14.15 will be enough to make me happy

Bringit! I've got a few more little toys to put on. Going to try and get it all installed and back on the juice for the 21st of May. It's my club's track rental day.
