might not be your problem but my cars filter got clogged and the pump couldnt push any more fluid through it so it pushed it out of the dip stick. just an experience i had.

Sounds like it is overfilled. There are different amounts of fluid to put in if you are doing a filter change, VB removal or a full fill with the converter empty.
