what kind of tranny auto or manual if manual it holds 5.6 pints. i think your talking about an automatic and it holds 6.7 quarts. did you drain torque converter.
When I switched my gears Autozone said the book called for like 11 or so. I don't remember how many I actually used but I'm pretty sure it was way more than 3
