If any help is available, can you tell me what type of transmission is in my 2000 GT, and How much it weighs?? Thanks!!!

Kilgore would have told you what it is and how much it weighs but he has a 4R70W (an automatic) and you probably just insulted him.

My 2000 has a t-45 and weighs about 110 lbs.

was I a woman when i drove a 87 turbo T regal ( all turbo buicks were autos)

some of the fastest cars on this board are autos. are they women for driving them.

uhhh yeaaaa. haha jk. autos are ok for drag but no fun otherwise

Autos are definently better for drag the only reason I have a 5-speed is for fun if I wanted to get hard core with drag racing then def. an automatic.

And yes I agree T-45 110lbs if you don't mind me asking why?

The Mustang automatics and the various five speeds are ALL good transmissions. Say what you want about the Mustang's other problems but the transmissions tend to range from acceptable to good, no poor ones IMHO.

There is no point in arguing personal preferance because it is highly HIGHLY subjective.

Also, us automatic guys don't rub the TR3650 second gear grind in your faces everytime the subject comes up now do we?
