Sort of an overview-
- I was unable to get my car to start after the aode to tremec conversion. The temperary fix was plug the aode harness into the gear selection switch that was on the side of the aode and ziptie it up out of the way.
- The reverse lights didnt work
- Had vibrations and whining problems
- The car would start without having to depress the clutch pedal
Fixes-
- I bought the manual transmission harness (connected to the main harness on the passengersside under the hood on the firewall) and plugged it in an now the car will start without the piece from the aode.
- The reverse lights now work since I installed the manual transmission harness.
- The vibrations are still there as is the whining just until Wednesday as Powered By Ford will be installing the new Tremec that was just released. The tremec that is in the car now (3550) has some problems of its own (really sloppy and loose) and needs a rebuild ( It was a used piece). As for the vibrations I am sure that is from not being indexed and PBF will be doing that for me when they install the new piece.
