any one who did there own kit remember how much cable they used? im thinking i should be ok with 25 feet just want to be sure before i order it

I used 20 feet and had maybe 2-3 feet of excess left over, but I routed my cable on the inside of the driver side fender, into the car along the floor rails, came through the carpet behind the driver seat and underneath the rear seats. You can always chop some off so if your long it won't matter.

25 feet is plenty.

make sure you ground the system good.

what gauge are you going with? I had to do mine over with 0 after I tried with 4 the first time.

i got 20ft of #2 welding cable from a welding supply store here in town... cost me 35 bucks.
