yes and for 65k i can think of quite a few other cars i would buy than the overweight gt500....used z06 or twin turbo 911

GT 500

For that kind of money, I'd rather buy a new Z06.

problem with that is the z06 is going for 20K over msrp as well.

True, IF you buy one off the lot. If you order one, you can get it for MSRP.

If you think that there are going to be dealers sittin on GT500s that they can sell, youre wrong. Even though this car has a higher production than 03/04 Cobras, the demand for the GT500 is alot more than you think. I think by the time all the GT500's are sold, 90% of them were sold way above the MSRP.
And you cant really blame the dealers, cause just like any buisiness, the high demand, low supply decides the market value and as long as there are people with more money than brains, the history will repeat itself.
