it would help to let us know what you want. caue we could write a looooonnggggg book on just mustangs in genereal, and throwing a turbo in the mix is gonna make for some serious typing. dont ask such a vague question, generalize it.

edit: i wouldnt suggest buying one that has already got the turbo on it. just isnt safe IMO

tell us about the car, you need to know what the setup is, there are many turbo's and even more DIY setups.

That's the problem I dont have a car that I want to put one on, I want to buy one with a turbo kit on it. Asking general info, which kits are better than others. Whats the difference between sizes. I've always has straight motor cars. I guess i wanna know what to keep in mind when lookin for one. Thats all.

Is there a car with a turbo that you've got your eye on, or are you just generally looking for one with a system already in place?

Care to explain why you say this?(unless it's a trashy made homebuilt kit then I agree)

If the car in question has been taken care of(had a owner that somewhat knew what he was doing) and the kit is from a respectable company/good designed DIY kit, I wouldn't be afraid to buy it.

Post some info on the car(what other mods and what brand kit) and we can give you a better answer.

from my experience, any time i have bought a car that had FI it was beat on and the trans gave up alot faster than i would have liked or had, warped heads, stuff that you wouldnt or couldnt see until a few days of driving it and it fail on you. guess i just got a bad taste in my mouth from bad previous experiences.

seems like there are a lot of threads started with VERY general questions such as:

"ive got a mustang, anyone else?"
