1986 LX

When the headlights are turned on the hazard signals and bright light signal turn on and the buzzer starts. Turn signals flash slowly. With the headlights off everything works as it should. New switch installed same problem.

Any help appreciated hate wiring.

Headlight switch, multifunction switch, ignition switch, or ??? By your screen name I will assume it’s a ‘86 and by the picture an LX. Any wiring modifications in the car that you know of? Does it do this with the ignition switch off, in the accessory, run, or crank positions?

Not. Hating your balls (okay Inam a little bit) but the more info you can provide up front the better.

Brand new headlight switch installed. As far as I know all the wiring is original. It does this with the key in every position. Ignition switch? I’ll take the hate don’t know what info would be needed or useful.

Check that the headlight switch is the correct one.. There's a wire crossed or a bad ground. Ground wires for the headlight harness is on each side of radiator support near the headlights.

Is this a new issue or has the car done this since you have had it?

The exact switch that I replaced. As far as I can tell all the grounds in that area are in good shape unless I am missing them.

Check for a burned out bulb, pop the flasher out, see if it still malfunctions, it won't blink but should still light up.
