today when i was driving to school i pu on my turn signal and all it did was light up but it didt blimk i checked for bad light bolds but ther good
so wat could it be
You were right, it normally means a bad light bulb.
Did you look at the bulbs, or just turn them on to check them?
Some times the filaments are bad and work off and on.
I dont think the relay would be bad, but thats easy enough and cheap enough to replace.
k i turn them on and cheked
when i get home i will take them of and check one by one
were is the relay located justa incase i have to try some thing else
If both R & L turn signals are inoperative, it is the flasher.
The flasher is not mounted on the front of the fuse panel. The flasher on the front of the fuse panel is a separate one for the hazard lights. It is in one of several places, depending on when your car was made. Some are behind the fuse panel on the back side, others are behind the radio and some are behind the glove box.
Other possible problem sources for the turn signal malfunction are the ignition switch, multifunction switch and the plastic shell that holds the turn signal wiring connector pins.
If only one side doesn't work, you have a bad bulb, corroded bulb socket, or bad wiring.
If the front & rear bulb lights up but doesn't flash on one side, the ground wire for the front bulb is bad. The front turn signal ground wires are connected to the upper radiator brace that runs from RH to LH in front of the radiator.
