Seen the videos of it yet? www.turbofordgt.com

Guess what....they're UPGRADING the beast. Yup, check the article out in MM/FF this month.

They put in a new 5.4 block done by Al P (Boss330).
Bigger turbos
New fuel system
New cams
P/P the GT heads
New injectors

Wow, they're expecting 1500 RWHP (it sits at 1012/892 atm).....wow, sick.

Good job to all involved on the project. Just imagine that beast on the autobahn

good lord, i thought that thing was a total beast to start. I dont know what id do with 1500 horses to the wheels, that should be fun to hook up but it is rear engine and has huge tires on the back

i would have left it where it was at instead of putting in the new 5.4 from al p. Bragging rights that it was still on the factory short block.

Amazing car. I just read the magazine in MM&FF not long ago. There is a video where the car almost gets smashed on the track, but the driver (not the owner) did an A+++ job of saving it.

Ya, in the article Joe says "I turned around and looked away and said 'this one's done.' " as the car headed toward the dragstrip wall. He turned around again to look back and the car was still in one piece and said "What the hell just happened?"

God smiled upon him that day

I've met this guy. He's an awesome guy. He let me sit in his car, and rev it and everything.

He is quite rich, rumor has it he owns a jet. He also had a srt 300c(or whatever they are) with huge rims and stuff. He sat in my brothers car, and admired his lamborgini doors, shortly afterwards, we met up with him later and he said he had put lambo doors on his 300c.

His car was a monster when it was just supercharged making like 1000 rwhp. The place he got to do the tuning, HP performance, does all the work I'm afraid to do for me.

I did not make 1k HP SC'd. It only made that power when the turbo'd it.

Well whatever it was, that was quite a long time ago. I'm pretty sure at one point he was very high hundreds while it was supercharged at least, whether those videos you watch and accue your information from showed it, I can't say..

He's probably been turbo'd for over half a year now. I haven't seen him in quite a while though, I guess he's just been having constant work done.

When I picked up my car from the shop, after they installed the SC on it, I walked around the corner and Joe's car was just sitting there with the back hatch completely off of it, and the turbos were sitting in there SO pretty. It was quite a site. I was more excited to just look at that, than even go drive my car. It was impressive.

Ya, it was probably impressive as hell when it was SC'd making close to 8XXHP, and then he turbo'd it.

From what I could see in the article, the craftsmanship is really impressive. The article also stated that at the GT reunion, the SVT team was also impressed with the car. That in itself makes a big statement for the team who built it.
