I'm pretty sure I know the problems but I want to make sure.
1. The odometer stopped turning. The speedo still works, but the odo or trip meter do not spin.

2. The A/C Is on and off between blowing through the defroster or the vents - sometimes it goes through defroster, sometimes through the vents.

For the odo, I guess I have to replace the gear inside the panel, right? Because if it was the sensor in the trans wouldn't the speedo stop too?

For the A/C I guess I just have to look at that small vacuum line on the firewall.

Thanks guys
Joe

You are correct in your assumptions. If the vacuum line is fine, the vent door may be stuck or something of the sort.

I found a site where you can get a new odometer gear.
