I have a set of 17" rims, x10.5 in the rear, and im in the market for a new set of drag radials for the spring ( my old bfg's are worn out... 315/35 r17) and i noticed there are two seperate makes of the MT's im looking at.
one, while smaller width wise, says its especially designed for quicker launches

haha yeah but i loved my 315/35 r17 bfg dr's.... and seeing that rear end with those steam rollers is awesome  plus i could get 1.8 60' times with my bfg's on the 17x10.5 s on stock suspension.... doing double adj uppers and got lowers now, then longtube headers :nice:

If you're going to run dedicated set of tires for the track, just go with ET streets (bias plys). If you're going to be using these as your daily tires, go with BFG's or try MT's new tread design. The two different MT tires are just tread changes really, one is better for getting caught in the rain, the other has more contact surface for the track.

For real though, just run a 275 on a stock wheel and save some money, or like I said an ET street on a stock sized wheel.

i feel you guys about saving the money. however, i already have the 17x10.5's and they need tires anyway. thats th reason i didnt buy set of welds and slicks this year for the rear.
