Got a 2005 GT Premium Coupe and am changing from standard 17" machined to silver 5-spoke Antera 343's size 19 x 8.5J with 245/40/19 tyres.
Same wheels at all 4 corners. (thought about going wider at the back - but was advised against).
Anyone running wheels of this size?
Care to pass on your experience so far?

Nah, but I've only been once so far this year. Apart from a local American Importer I've only seen one 05 GT on the road, must have been a USAF guy as it was right next to RAF Lakenheath

I have 19x8 with 255/40zr19 on front and 19x9 with 285/35zr19 rear
Could fit a 19x0 and 305's or 315's in back

I work on Lakenheath, teach part time, and drive around the area as much as possible - over 8,000 miles since December 1st! Like to cruise all the local areas, Newmarket, Cambridge, March, Ely, Wisbech - and I haven't seen another red GT since I got mine. Drove down to the Ace Cafe in London last Bank Holiday Monday (those in the UK know what I mean), there were about 45 'Stangs, and only 3 new GTs, 2 besides mine. Always looking for places to go with it, so let me know if anything is going on in the area. Cheers!

solid red - man it looked good must have been going 100mph+ on a section of dual carrage way coming towards me. The roads where nice and quiet, it was about 10am on Boxing Day.

sounds like me. i had to work boxing day. seems like there are a few of us in the local area. i've ran into one guy that has a red gt, we picked up our cars on the same day, two of the first gt's over here. last time i saw him is when he was getting his fuel tank changed at the auto center.

there is a local monthly american car meet here in cambridge mabey we should all try to meet up at the next one. i met the guy who put's it together a few months ago and i keep meaning to make it by one.

I'm the Red GT who got it same day as you - keep me in mind if there are any get togethers, would love to show up. A friend of mine in Cambridge just got his last week - another black one. Still haven't seen another red besides mine here - but it doesn't really matter. There are so few of us here in the UK that anywhere we go we attract a load of attention! Posted some pics of mine at:

my friend is getting his silver with red leather shortly. i think he said that the boat came in on the weekend so now he is just waiting for them to process it. sounds like we all need to plan a get together.
