Maybe, but I have spent too much money for some grease monkey to think my car is a V6.

How would you like it if somebody thought you were being a poser, that they thought your Stang was a 6 or god forbid a 4 cyl?

i honestly wouldn't care

not everyone is a mustang enthusiast and not everyone cares. hell most people don't know you can get a mustang with different engines.
i've had someone tell me all newer mustangs were v6's, just the old ones with the "5.0" were.
several people thought my car was a v6 when i told them it had a 4.6.
one girl in school said her stock white 99 v6 looked just like a white 'o3 cobra "except it has a bigger bumper".
when people hear my car ('o2) alot ask if it's a 5.0

no big deal

When I need tires mounted the rims go in the bed of the lightning to get dropped off at a shop if I have to. Otherwise they goto the ford dealer and my friend mounts them. I hate rim scratches.

Happens all the time. I actually have V6 running pony fender emblems on my GT. I overheard one kid say to his friend in the car next to me "It's not a GT, see it doesn't say GT on the fenders"

Yup, i drive a V6 and spent the time to put a GT hoodscoop, side scoops, spoiler, GT wheels, Cobra brakes, Mach 1 grill and chin spoiler, GT dual exhaust on my car and forgot to change the side emblems.

When I first got My Mach 1, since my previous stang was a 97 Cobra, I was kinda mad that I just had little running ponys on my fenders. Now I like it because people dont know what it is. I guess the shaker doesnt hide much though.

One day I would love to get a 96 GT, replace all the emblems with ponys, change the back bumper to a v6 bumper, & drop in a built & twin turbo'd 2v. i would probably even delete the foglights & remove the tailpipes & install the quietest mufflers I could find. Then I would get some 95 cobra R's, which wouldnt take away from the sleeper factor because you see alot of v6 stangs with Cobra R's anyway. I would use the stockers, but I would need more traction. Then I would try to race every hot car I came across, because you know that knowone would back down from a v6 stang.

He's a 9 dollar a hour tire changer. What do you expect those guys share the bottom of the automotive food chain with jiffy lube "techs". What offends me is when people call those guys mechanics or techs.
