Picked up a Professional products UP and TB from a friend and installed it today. Seems to have helped, but my exhaust notes sound completly differnet. Is this normal?? Also has alot more "popping" when decelerating while still in gear. Not sure if I like that or not. Other than that, I like it...for 50 bucks anyways.

All the sensors ect where still attached and the parts came from a 98 GT...just had to adjust the idol some...

Thanks,
-B

The exhaust probably sounds different because your getting more air into you engine. And yeah, $50 is a steal for a TB and Plenum!

Might be something faulty going on with the IAC unit? I know when the airflow is restricted, this will happen when you arent on the throttle.

The problem might be the fact is that your car is a 00 and the sensors from the TB and plenum is 98 stuff. I would put your stock 00 sensors on at TB and then set the TPS.

Thanks. I'll pull the old sensors and put the originals back on tomorrow and see if it helps.

Also, I can smell oil since the install as well. Both PVC's are in....any thing else I should check for???
