Would any one know if these could be used with an Edelbrock performer rpm2 intake ?

Proform Parts 302-135 - Proform Ford Racing Licensed Slant Edge Valve Covers - Overview - SummitRacing.com

I can not find dimensions for these valve covers anywhere

Sorry to just pop in here and keep asking questions, pics of what I've been up to fitting a 5.0 into a UK Ford Sierra.

It's taken me ages making some long tube headers to fit.

Thanks for any help

Mark

If that is a Tall valve cover, as with most EFI intakes you would probably need a 1 inch spacer for clearance between the upper intake and valve cover.

Hood has less than 1/4" clearance on the intake so spacers are not an option.

I've emailed Summit and asked for sizes, with luck they will get back to me.

I have the same intake on my car and the same valve covers just the polished version and I had to use a 1 inch spacer.

Thanks for the info, it looks like they are too tall for my installation.

These will do the job

Have stock 93 Mustang 5.0 valve covers on mine, they fit fine under the RPM II, without any spacers. Stripped and re-painted, they look decent. Not polished or "bling" but they'll be fine-especially considering that the covers are hidden under the intake anyway.

The only issue I've had is that if I had to do it all over again, I'd paint the covers the same color as the intake manifold. I used cast blast gray (like gray cast iron color) and it's not a match to the intake manifold. But like I said, my turd is not a show car at all...so it's not a big deal to me.

I to have used stock covers with the RPM II, cleaned them up and repowdercoated them.

Headers look good BTW
