Ok, so i'm piecing together a h/c/i setup, so far I have the h/c/i i need small things like rr and valve covers...

The heads have upgraded 7/16 rr studs so I'm wondering am I going to need tall valve covers and if so will tall valve covers fit under a tfs street heat...

or could I use these valve covers...

www.andersonfordmotorsport.com has chrome dipped steel valve covers that clear every rocker and intake. They use the stock steel gaskets and don't require a spacer to clear aftermarket intakes. The price is even better $68.50. I have them on my AFR 185's, Probe stud mount rockers and Holley intake.

Joe,

You know how the Fox VC's sometimes have probs with the oil fill spout/nipple clearing the VOrtech/TB area? Do you know off hand if the Oil fill spout on those AFM ones sits approx in the same position as the stock ones...so I wouldnt have that clearance issue?

Add a few more bux for shipping. I believe mine came out to $75 to my door. That's still a steal since most covers are over $100 and are way too tall.

Actually I bought a MAC knock off fender cold air kit for $40 on Ebay. I used just the portion you see there in the pic. They are too small though so I'm going to order 4 inch ones from www.racepartsolutions.com They are up the street from me. They have all colors all sizes.

i tried ordering from race part solutions once, i needed some couplers like u guys are talking about and the phone would ring and ring for a few days straight. i guess if they're up the road u could just walk over and get what u need.

Engine Might have to get a Dart block but don't want to and if I do, then 363 instead of 331. Thoughts on what I've already bought so far.......
