Recently there have been a couple of people having trouble with noise from the valve train. I have my motor half apart now and found the source of my noise issues.
The center shaft (the part that the rocker rotates about) of the roller rocker is loose in the rocker casting. This effectively allows the rocker to move side to side. This is definitely the source of my ticking, as I could make the rocker shaft tick by moving it with my hands!
I couldn't find the old posts so I wanted to throw this out for anyone who was having similar problems.
