yeah dude 04 is good at hyjacking. haha. she looks fast for untuned. oh and i think getting more gear is just gonna have you red in 4th, and you dont wanna have to shift 4 times in a run.. keep the gears till you get tuned.

Who says 04Sleeper Hijacked? Mine will still be faster than his once I get tuned....

Yea I plan on keeping everything the way it is until I get a TwEEcer or PMS on this thing to see what kind of power I can extract out of it. I believe my total timing is around 20 degrees right now which isn't helping at all. Maybe a meth kit will be in order so I can jack up the timing!

a tune will help you alot! my combo is VERY similar to yours except i have 29 less cubic inches and 3-4 psi less boost.. and i'm running pretty much exactly the same as you are now, i'm un tuned also. so a tune will help me too.

IMO if you speed up your shifting you will hit 11s as is. with a tune i see it going mid to low 11s, and picking up about 5-8 mph

the powerheads may not be enough for a 331, you could think about upgrading them i bet there would be a decent gain there.

Ha Ha. Sorry guys. Pics taken down.

One thing I have learned is that there's ALWAYS someone faster. You just learn to live with it.

As long as my car is nice and can hold it's own, I'm happy.

You will pick up something from a tune BUT NOT no 200 rwph as quote from someone else. Unless its a diesel, Blackend88lx is SMOKING THE GOOD to say his buddy picked up 200rwhp from a tune. I smell BULL$hit

Your a tool, its my car and it did pick up crazy power. Nice run, you should be getting low 11's in time. You did better then me! I think my best was a 12.2 with a 2.2 60, a locked up smog pump, and a slipping clutch! Did I mention Centerforce DF's arent meant to hold 500 rwhp?

Ahhh. It's a high compression, spooled, C-4'd, 4.10 geared, gas eating mustang that I cant enjoy driving down the shore and the track at the same time. It's probably got over 25k invested into it and it still is a bucket

My old 302 with this same setup netted me a 12.2 @ 114 with a slipping clutch. This is why after being tuned I expect to be in the 117-118mph range pretty easily. Considering I matched my 302 "Tuned" engine to this 331 "Untuned", means my motor is defiantly gonna rumble after it gets leaned out and timing bumped up a bit!

Yeah I saw that one coming (Damn Whipples!!)

Being 22 now and 8 months away from an M.E degree, I can justify not having a 10 second monster!!
