Anyone running this setup?
Right now I have the FMS a/c delete kit that moves the p/s pump up. I'm going to be swapping in a manual rack, so I'll need to find something to run just the water pump and altenator.
I'm also throwing an s trim kit on the car a little down the road, so I'd want something that will work with that, too.
I know march makes a couple brackets, and an altenator relocation kit.. I just want to make sure one of them will work with the vortech setup.

It would be nice if Vortech made a kit that mounted the SC in the P/S location, and used the serpentine belt to drive it.

I'm courious of this one too, same thing except I dont plan on doing manual rack. I am thinking of a S/C maybe but it would be a good idea too see if I can even put a S/C on there.

i have that setup exactly. all i run is water pump and alternator. i left my alternator down where it is supposed to be on a vortech bracket, at the bottom. then i have a turnbuckle connecting it to a supporting spacer/big bolt we made where the air pump should bolt in. it works fine. others have also relocated the alternator to where the air pump should be in a vortech setup, but i coudlnt figure this one out my self so i didnt do it. annnd finally, some place sells a kit to mount your alternator on your driver side head, since it will be empty. that would be a nice idea, my motor has everything on the passenger side! but i didnt feel like buying that kit.

but long story short, you can make it work just fine.
