ok guys i posted before how a slight amount of paint came off when taking off my side strips. I dont want to pay like 400 bucks to have my door re-painted and then even take a chance it doesn't even match so I decided I will just put them back on. My question is what adhesive can I use. Some is still left on the strips, but I want to take it all off and get some fresh adhesive on there for a good stick. Most people would never put these things back on so I dont think this question has been asked too often. Thanks

If you could clean all the old stuff off somehow (zippo fluid or the like), you could use one of two things. You could get some 3M double sided tape or the better option is to get some "3M Emblem Adhesive". It's excellent stuff ... I've used it for many emblems.

where can i pick it up, autozone and napa? I was thinking the same thing because say in the future I sell it or even decide to take it off again and pay for it to be painted, spray adhesive would probably screw up the other door and id have to paint both.
