washington emmissions change

ok so i have herd numerous rumors that starting 2009 wa will start doing visual inspectios like ca does does any one know if this is true?might affect plans for my car.i do know 2009 model year cars have to have ca or org emmisions cert and can not be fed emmisions otherwise you wont be able to register.this winter i plan on either turboing my gt or doing a head swap with some big crower cams + lts
hopefully we wont get screwed to bad other wise i am buying another early 80s fox

come on now i like living in bellevue,hey at least the part i live in is unincorperated king county i can burn out and not worry

I seriously doubt it will be retroactive- I would suspect that any changes will only affect the following model years.
