Hey guys, ive got a 2001 mustang gt bullitt and every time theres a rain storm my front drivers side floor board seems to get damp, any ideas where i can look for a possible leak?

The Cowl Area is one typical rust area, shine a light through first with another inside looking up in the Passenger footwell area. If it’s coming in while only driving, I’d check the floorpan & other low areas. Pull your inside plastic(s) off to make sure the CPU’s not getting wet (may want unbolt & cover it in plastic, sealed with tape for H20 tests). No Coolant- only H20- right?
Someone inside, Run a hose over the Cowl, slowly across the windshield and slowly make your way across & down the fender/hood area, upper door back to front. Take it apart as needed, had a Door hinge weld break once & water found its way through. It’s a quick & effective way to isolate it.
If there’s evidence of bad weatherstripping anywhere, replace it first.
