weight of aod?

anyone know the exact or close approximate weight of an aod? Im shipping one out and i need to find a freight/shipping company that wont charge me 800$ to ship it

I thought it was somewhere in the 125lb range...that might be a bit much. $800 dollars is rediculous.

:Word: 800 is way out of the picture here. that price is more like a engine and trans.

I think they are about 100-110 pounds. I didn't like lifting mine.

the 5spd trans are 100lbs so im sure thier more than 110lbs

an empty t-5 weighs about 75 pounds ( shipped 2 of them ups, returning them ).....the aod i have no clues, i'd think atleast 110 minus the converter.....but i could be wrong......

i think they are more like 150-175 with the converter, after moving the thing around after the swap, they are heavy as hell.

Yea,that sounds more reasonable.

Cause a C4 with no converter is about 80lbs.

Them AOD's are big though....hmm wonder whitch is bigger an AOD or C6?
