sometimes when im slowing down in my car to turn into a driveway or making a turn i will push the clutch in and just use the brakes to slow down as im slowing down the car will just shut off and i will have to restart it. it starts right back up and runs fine but its odd that it does that. anyone know why this would do this? also it doesnt do it very often just maybe once a day

wannabe2000GT:

It's in need of a dashpot tweak! Your tuner can adjust this for you and eliminate the problem.

My Cobra stalls for the first 8 miles of driving every spring. It happens only when I am slowing dow while the clutch is in. This happens because the battery has been disconnected all winter and it must take the first 8 miles for the car to get used to the tune again. After that she is fine all summer long.

Mine did the same thing this year. I "cleared" itself up. Pearl02.

i just realized today that it only does it in ONE spot. when i am slowing down to turn onto my road. its a slight downward slope nothing major. its not a random thing either because its done it 3 times in that spot and no where else. the weirdest thing iv ever seen a car do.
