I'm looking into a set of weld prostars 15x8 or 9 with 5.5 backspace. Will this work nice on a 5lug fox or do I need a different off-set.

how much wider does your 5 lug setup make your car? i'm running a TC rear end with modified bracket setup and lincoln rotors up front so it's fox width.. if yours is say 1" wider you need more backspacing to make up for it

The front is fox width but the back is SN95 width. Going to be running the skinnies up front. My 17x8 & 9 bullitts clear with just enough with the fenders rolled... I'm thinking I'll be alright...

Don`t know if it will help much but my welds are15x8 with 5.5" backspace on a standard 8.8 mustang housing. I have a 3/16 spacer behind them so they don`t rub.
Tires are 275x50x15
