We had our first race last night! It was awesome. Track prep was crazy. the first time I bogged huge. the second time a ran the rpm up on launch and spun. My last run was the big one though. You've got to see this!! My 96GT vs. 06 Roush S/C. This was nuts. I didn't know what happened until I got back in the pits.

Watch the Roush!! Vid quality sucks on photobucket but oh well.

He missed it by inches!! He came back to the pits shaking, I thought I smelt urine when he walked by . Bet he had some streaks in his shorts too. This girl behind my wife when she was taping was pissed off at me for not stopping and checking on my fellow competitor! My wife said she just about turned around and beat the crap out of her. I didn' t even know it happened. I thought he was at my quarter panel or something in my blind spot. He did not know how to drive that car. He said when the supercharger spooled up real hard that's when he spun. He has a Positive displacement Roush blower, doesn't spool . It must have been his first time at the track.

Thats good that he didn't hit the wall though!! That would have sucked so bad to end your night like that.

what a dumb bitch (woman behind you). When you're racing at the track you're not supposed to look out your window to see how far behind the other car is or if hes even there, thats how **** happens in the first place, people dont pay attention. I wouldn't have thought any less of you had you kicked her square in the teeth

wow i have a video form fontana were a camaro hits the wall and another one where a vette almost hits it but its in tape and dont know if i can upload it........... crazy though good thing he didnt F*** anything up, that is why they tell you if you begin to lose it just let off its better to lose a race than wreck a car.

He really didn't not know how to drive that car. His reaction was .6 and his 60ft was 2.4. Obviously i should not have stood a chance with my low compression stroker with blower cams and no blower on yet. The car is actually making better power no than when I had the 4.6 and VT stage 2's. I trapped over 100mph every run last night but couldn't break under 14.1. I had crappy 60ft's all night. 2.1-2.4. Going out again tonight so we'll see who else tries to destroy their car. A 10 second vega smacked the wall before the race I posted. He destroyed his car, glass everywhere. Took 40 minutes to clean up that wreck. I only got 4 runs in all night. After the one wreck and the near wreck the track officials were all over the pits and staging lanes telling everybody the track was cold and to get out of it if you get squirly.

Tweeked, your car takes off like a bat out of hell! I was surprised you only did a 14.1, it looked really fast to me lol. That guy must have had to change his undies after that one

that was good, i'm glad the guy didnt crash his car though, its always a shame to see a nice car ruined. Hopefully you'll have the blower on here pretty soon eh?

When i race at the track i have enough going on to notice the guy next to me. I'm too busy on focusing on my launch and nailing my shift points to care about the other guy. After i pass the line only then do i look for the other guy if he is behind me.

Haha, you would have got served had he knew what he was doing...i raced one (believed to be supercharged) down at houston. I was on his bumper till the 1/8, then he just drove away.....I was trapping 106.X down there too and going 13.2-13.3s . He got about 4 cars on me on the back half lol.

And what elevation are you? Your car should be going faster than that

And glad the guy was OK! Thats why people should only buy fast cars, when they are used to fast cars...

She goes on in the next two weeks. I finally got the last few parts for it. They came in to Calgary on Thursday and i will have them Monday. It's a pain having a kind of bastard car. 96GT with 04 heads, kit needed some extra parts that weren't included and KB's customer service sucks hole. They're all here monday though .

Believe me, I'd love to run at a sea level track. My corrected altitude was 5200ft. Those times were with 8.7:1 compression and blower cams. I'm glad the guy walked away too. Try explaining that one to your insurance company.

Wow. I would have felt really bad for that guy if it had hit the wall. Im sure he probaly almost went into shock when that happened. It was a good recovery on his part though... someone was watching out for his car, haha.
