Well, my car has been outa commission for the past 3 weeks because of a little mishap at the dragstrip. I had a good launch but when I depressed the clutch to shift for 2nd it blew, and I never even made it to neutral let alone 2nd...So I had it parked for about a week and a few days ago I started the disassembly and finally tonight I got to the clutch. So here's some pics I took of the destruction...I was very surprised to see all the pieces of clutch come out when I took off the bellhousing.

And you gotta think, I drove home on this clutch about 30 miles...I was using the starting the car in gear to get it moving and shifting without the clutch technique but I'm surpised it didn't start slipping like crazy

Honestly, It doesn't look all that bad. I'm pretty sure I can get away with just resurfacing it...Mainly the clutch and pressure plate had the most damage

That clutch looks like it had seen better days before it blew. It was definitely time for a new one.
