The lift brackets that go by the exhaust manifolds.

Trippy I was thinking lift brackets before I even saw the picture. I must have Mustang ESP.

yes , they went in between the header and the head of the header bolt. they were caddy cornered on the engine, One on the passenger side rear and one on the drivers side front, to ease in pulling/dropping in the engine. They were left from the factory, most people leave them because it makes for easy pulling of the engine

I took mine off when I changed my headers...Kept them in the bottom of my tool box for safe keeping. Only a few minutes to put them back on to lift the engine...and makes it a little cleaner under the hood without them

Don't toss them out, but don't install them either unless the motor comes out a lot.

Don't worry, my garage is evidence that I have never thrown out any car parts!

I LOL'd on that one.. I know the feeling. Im starting my own parts department. Its sad when a friend comes over and says, hey I need to get a new fuel filter. Oh I got one down in the garage. That will be 15 bucks please.
