What are these relays for? I found these by the fuse box. 94 Mustang GT

Hello, New to the forum... this forum is very helpful. I am taking out any unneeded wires from previous owner to find out why my instrument panel wont work and found this group of wires and relays. There are 2 black and 2 white wires that go towards center console under carpet. Can anyone help identify so I can continue my search. thanks

Need to know where it goes. Follow the wires and post what you find.

Those are cheap aftermarket relays that could have been installed for any number of things; alarm system, stereo system, you name it. They definitely did not come with the car. If the wires go somewhere, great, if not, don't worry about them.

It appears they go back to the convertible motor... very strange why the relays would be under the dash. It looks to be after market since the yellow wire goes to the battery.

Does it have an aftermarket alarm system?
The daisy chained double relays are how my power windows and locks are connected to my alarm system,

Found out that the previous owner installed the power seat drivers side. I assume that there wasnt powere seats before.
