Optima or the Duralast gold.
I like the Motorcraft except when they deciede to go bad...they just go,no warning or anything.My parents have had this happen for the last 15 years in there fords and the same gor me on the GT.

Duralast Gold for my Mach 1 and Motorcraft in the 97 GT. When I was just about to buy the mach they put a new battery in the night before and they did not drive the car long enough so the car would not pass smog becuase the computer memory was cleared.I drove it for 15 miles and it passed.

Just get the most expensive one on the shelf

I went with a 7-year warranty Duralast Gold. Haven't had a single problem in 3½ years...let's see how the next 4½ years play out

I still have the stock Motorcraft and will probably replace it with another OEM one.

I just changed the stock Motorcraft on my 2000 Ford Contour two weeks ago.

I just had Walmart put a battery in while I was shopping since it is just my beater. The Stang will get a Motorcraft.
